The vadiMAP solution was created in 2018 by the vadimUS team to fill a clear void in the market.
With 25 years of experience in the energy industry, vadimUS specialists wanted to innovate in the energy management and transition industry by offering a new option, backed by powerful algorithms in order to offer a reliable and more accessible alternative to companies that are #movingontogreen.

Dan Boucher
CEO & Founder
Dan has over 25 years of experience in energy and automation markets while working with some of the globe's largest companies in this sector, on a national, North American and global basis. Dan's responsibilities have included general management and strategic development overseeing sales and marketing, engineering, operations, project management and strategic acquisitions. He has also led several initiatives to grow complex organizations tied to electric utilities, electro-sensitive consumers and well-known manufacturers.
Dan is a Professional Engineer, acquiring Engineering degrees at École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS) in Montreal and a PMP degree with the Project Management Institute in Newark Square, PA. He is also an advisor for different organizations and a keynote speaker for the « Taking out our feet of the starting blocks » conferences. He founded vadimUS in 2016.
Passion: Dan likes to work with his hands at home, especially when he has to build with imagination.

Jeremy S. Boucher, P. Eng.
COO & Co-Founder
Jeremy has over 8 years of experience in the installation, modernization and maintenance of low and medium voltages equipment. He has successfully completed a number of engineering projects for commercial, industrial and institutional clients. In recent years, he has gained management experience leading a team of over 40 people.
Jeremy is an engineer, acquiring his electrical engineering degree at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) in Montreal. He also obtained a certification for completing StarDust Solar training for solar panels and batteries installations in July 2019. He started at vadimUS in 2018.
Passion: Jeremy likes tasting new microbrewery beers.

Nicolas Mary, M. Eng.
Director of Innovation & Co-Founder
Nicolas has over 5 years of experience with microgrids, more specifically with simulation and smart control algorithms. He first focused in the economic and technical analysis of microgrids by developing a Smart Micro Grid Simulator. Encouraged by the promising results of his work, he co-founded a company in 2018 aiming to size and control microgrids. His technical knowledge of simulation algorithms and his entrepreneurial experiences will propel the full technical potential of the vadiMAP solution.
Nicolas completed his engineering degree at ESME Sudria (Paris) and his master's degree in renewable energies at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS). Since the beginning of 2020, he has been a PhD candidate at ÉTS focusing in the design, simulation and optimal control of nanogrids with vadiMAP. He started at vadimUS in 2019 as the technical director.
Passion: Nicolas likes sliding in deep powder on his snowboard.

Samuel Durette, P. Eng.
Project Manager
Samuel has over 5 years of experience in electrical rooms to analyze, size, modernize and maintain low and medium voltages equipment for commercial and industrial clients. Having developed a passion for renewable energies during his adventures in Europe, he set himself a goal of making a real difference for the energy transition. His engineering knowledge and management skills are the perfect combination to offer our clients the right support to achieve their goals.
Samuel is a candidate for the engineering profession, acquiring his electrical engineering degree at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) in Montreal. He also obtained certification for completing the Solar Electric Design & Installation training from the Solar Energy International organization in May 2020. He started at vadimUS in 2020 as a project manager.
Passion: After a workday, Samuel is excited to push himself in sports activities.

Charles Girardet, M. Sc.
Special Projects Manager
Charles has over 5 years of experience as an analyst of energies, climate change and CO2 capture. This experience in Montreal therefore gives him a solid knowledge of the carbon market and offset credits. He then added to his portfolio 2 years as a Retail Manager in Chicago. This experience, allowing him to be in the shoes of a building manager, and his knowledge in renewable energies are a perfect combination to offer our clients the right support to achieve their goals.
Charles graduated as an engineer from Centrale Marseille (France). After his experience in Chicago, Charles returned to Montreal to obtain a master's degree in renewable energies in 2020 at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS). He has developed algorithms for vadiMAP to quantify the impact of nanogrids on greenhouse gas emissions. He started at vadimUS in 2020 as a project manager.
Passion: Charles likes to cultivate his garden.

Alou I. Keita, M. Eng.
Feasibility Study Expert
Alou has over 3 years of experience in the energy industry and took a particular career path. He started off in the oil and gas industry as an operator in two gas plants. He later decided to hop on the energy transition train and shift to the renewable energy sector by completing a master's degree. He also co-founded an electrical consulting firm in Ivory Coast where he managed multiple domestic solar PV projects. His understanding of the energy sector as a whole is a great asset to understand technical and financial particularities of various energy systems, allowing him to provide excellent solutions for our clients.
Alou is a candidate for the engineering profession, acquiring his petroleum engineering degree at University of Louisiana and his master's degree in renewable energies at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS). He started at vadimUS in 2021 as a project manager.
Passion: Alou enjoys watching and playing soccer in his free time.

Lucas Batier
Principal Software Developer
Lucas has strong experience in web development and industrial informatics. He has developed and launched several software solutions for the automotive industry. For many years, the environment and renewable energies have been at the center of his ambitions. He is convinced that Artificial Intelligence has a major role in the energy transition. He intends to develop it and set it in a robust software envelope.
Lucas completed his engineering degree in industrial informatics at Télécom Saint-Etienne (France) and his master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at ENSIMAG (Grenoble, France). He sets up in Montréal with tremendous ambitions for the vadiMAP growth. He started at vadimUS in 2022 as the principal software developer.
Passion: Lucas loves to play the pop star with his 3 guitars and his few vocal cords.
